Erik Krueger, Sales Representative (Chicago Office)
Erik is the 4th generation in his family to be working in the boating industry. He received his 100 Ton USCG Captain's License at the age of 18. After graduating from Michigan State University, he went to work for Viking Yachts for a year prior to joining the JBYS team. Erik has enjoyed boating and spending time on the water his entire life. Erik enjoys working in the boating industry as a yacht broker because it enables him to meet other people who share his passion for boating and gives him the opportunity to help find his clients the boats that best meet their needs and provide them with the service they deserve.

Jim Kehrig, Jr., Sales Representative 
After graduating from Oakland University, Jim began his career in the marine industry in 1988. After spending some time as a Service Manager, Jim turned his focus on sales. Since then he has proudly built close relationships with his clients by providing an uncompromising dedication to servicing their needs. Jim was raised in a family of experience boaters and enjoys boating with his wife and three children.

Ron Montoya, Sales Representative 
Ron started selling boats in 1978 because he loved selling "fun." Racing boats, skiing behind boats at over 100 mph, or running yachts over thousands of miles around the globe, Ron can't think of anything better to do in life than to get people into the boating lifestyle. Whether you're seeking the ultimate rush or a bit of peace and tranquility, the boating lifestyle can take you there.  

Jim Stefano, Sales Representative (Ohio Office)
Jim started boating at a very young age with his family on Lake Erie. Jim attended the Chapman School of Seamanship and at the age of 18 and received his 100 Ton USCG Captain's License. He has worked as a fishing guide as well as a private captain in both the North and South waters. Jim started selling boats in 1999 and enjoys working hard for his clients both before and after the sale.

Judy (Harrison) Krueger, Sales Representative (Charlevoix Office)

Judy’s love for boating started as a young girl when her grandfather would take her on deep sea fishing adventures in Plymouth, Massachusetts.  She spent about seven years in her early 20's crewing on private yachts cruising from Boston to South Florida.  Judy acquired her 100 Ton USCG Captain’s License in 1986. In 1993 Judy started a career in sales, and in 2003 she became the first sales representative for a new Sunseeker dealership in Newport Beach, California.  Judy moved to Michigan in 2006 to explore the Great Lakes.  Judy is ready to help you find the perfect vessel to cruise wherever your dreams will take you.

Ron Silvia, Sales Associate (Chicago Office)

Ron has spent most of his life on the water.  He was born and raised on Cape Cod, and received his 100 Ton USCG Captain’s License at 18.  While in college, Ron served as a charter, full-time summer, and delivery captain.  After graduating from Bentley College in 2005, Ron has continued to serve his longtime clients.  He is currently pursuing his MBA at Loyola University Chicago. Ron’s attention to detail, thoroughness, and respect for every yacht he boards is honest. His ability to listen, relate, and understand the needs of his clients serves him well both before and after the sale.

Tony Leitgeb, Sales Associate (Grand Haven Office)
Tony grew up boating with his family on Lake Michigan. At an early age he crewed for his father's charter fishing boat, and earned his 100 ton captain's license in 1985. Thereafter, he began AML Yacht Service acting as a private captain and personal representative. His numerous travels have taken him up and down the East Coast, through the New York Canal systems and inner River System, and all over the Great Lakes. Tony's knowledge of boats is very extensive. He is enthusiastic about sharing his industry knowledge and helping each person find the right boat for their needs and desires.

David Ottenhoff, Service Manager 
Dave grew up on the Great Lakes and has been a boater all his life. He has worked in the marine industry since 1980 and has experience from several boat manufacturers along the east and west costs of the USA. Dave has spent the last ten years working in the area of customer service. He holds a degree in business management and is committed to the boating industry and specifically the service needs of our customers.

Steele Downer, Warranty and Service Administrator
Steele has been in the marine industry since 1974. He previously worked with a boat manufacturer in production, research and development, engineering and design, sales, and customer service. Steele started working at Jefferson Beach Marina in 1989 and joined JBYS team in 2000.

David Lesh, Service Project Manager 
David has been a life-long boater with his beginnings in his family's fishing charter boat business on the Great Lakes. He is often on the water with his family, enjoying the lifestyle that boating offers. Dave has been in the industry since 1982 and has many certifications including MAN Diesel service. Dave travels extensively for new boat deliveries and warranty repairs. He also oversees and coordinates diesel repairs and service scheduling.

Bryan "Max" Welch, Service Technician 
Max was exposed to boating at an early age, growing up on a canal in St. Clair Shores. His parents owned a 26' Lyman, so he and his sister spent their summers boating. His love of the water and boating helped him to decide to start a career in the marine industry. He's been a mechanic since 1979 and is a certified Mercruiser Mechanic and has completed courses in Crusader engines, Borg Warner transmissions, Volvo, OMC, and the latest Mercruiser EFI systems. "Max" works on every boat as if it was his own and takes great pride in what he does.

Marc "Full Throttle" Rumble, Preowned Service Coordinator
Marc is a USCG Licensed Captain and maintains and services our preowned boat fleet. He has been in the marine industry since 1986 and is a certified Mercruiser, Crusader, and Detroit Diesel technician. He is Smart Craft® and fuel injection trained by Mercruiser and holds competencies in all other boat systems. He was born and raised on Lake St. Clair and has been in and around boating & fishing his entire life. 

Frank Pryg, Service Technician 
Frank has been working part-time for JBYS since 1996. Prior to that he worked for 30 years on the GM design staff. He is a WWII Veteran. Frank enjoys boating and working with the young employees.

Carole Whiteman, Receptionist 
Carole is the first smiling face you see when you visit our main office in St. Clair Shores. She enjoys being in a boating environment and going for the occasional boat ride. When not at work, she spends time with her grandchildren.

Carol (Voss) Petersmarck, Business Manager
Carol is an expert in creative financing and has a certificate from Resource Training with expertise in credit insurance and mechanical service agreements. With the countless number of available loan programs today, Carol can find the right program for you. We take care of all your boating needs from start to finish. Carol also plans the Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales Rendezvous.

Stephanie Gallinagh, CFO
Stephanie has been in the marine industry since 1992. She graduated from Oakland University with an Accounting degree and joined the JBYS team in 1997. Stephanie is responsible for the daily accounting tasks as well as preparing the financial statements.

Amy Malow, Marketing Director - Administrative Assistant
Amy has spent her entire life enjoying the boating lifestyle and grew up engaged in the boating industry. She holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Human Nutrition and is a Registered Dietitian. After working clinically and in public health administration for nearly 10 years, Amy decided to join the JBYS team in an administrative capacity. In addition to administrative tasks, Amy's responsibilities include marketing, data management and analysis, and internal reporting.
